Great place to ski and host events during the winter.
Great place for a walk and run, with different lenght you want. The birch trees are beatiful.
Visited for the hiking trails in June, wish I could see this place in the winter with skis under my feet though! Pro tips: bring a can of bug spray for the skeeters and prepare yourself for wet feet (bring extra socks and shoes for the ride home) as some of the trail is very soft and saturated. Most of all though, enjoy!
Beautifully groomed by the time the sun was up. Classical tracks and wide skate lanes.
The recreation area was wonderful for trail running. Short and up and down.
We attended a wedding at the facility on site and it was a perfect setup. With lights and linens, the place was jazzed up. The outside deck made for a great dance floor and lawn games on the grass.
Absolutely gorgeous. A must-visit place in the fall when the lingonberries are ripe.
This is such a great place anytime of year. The summer is great for walking and enjoying the sunshine, the fall has spectacular views of the changing colors of the foliage. The autumn yellows and oranges really pop against the hill and it’s great for family photos. Winter and spring are fantastic for cross county skiing. Good for all levels of skiers. Nice warming hut as well. Lots of parking but can get busy during peak season.
Bring what you’ll need for good times, bikes, skis (headlite), water, snacks,(TP) No stores up here. Just some really good trails. Ppl play frisbee, long walks, Mtn biking in summer (when dry) (fat biking on a night run 🤫; stay off groomed x ski tracks) drop off some donation $, otherwise its free.
